ACT Science Tip: Understanding Conflicting Viewpoints

Chalk Talk #72

Since the Science portion of the ACT is at the very end of the almost three-hour test, many students tend to struggle with timing in this section due to sheer exhaustion.

Conflicting viewpoints passages in the Science section can lead to students wasting valuable time due to the length of the questions that accompany the passages and a lack of understanding in how to answer those questions. But don’t worry; we are here to help. Learning to promptly recognize tricky content, such as conflicting viewpoints, can help students answer questions quickly and save valuable time and points.

In this short video, taken from our new Study Hall feature found in TruScore Practice Testing and Analysis, we provide valuable tips for recognizing conflicting viewpoints passages and how to best tackle them.
