Some test items can be tricky, but in this course we show students how to use that fact to their advantage. Students learn powerful strategies that can double the effectiveness of their guesses and give them an edge on test day.

Subject-Specific Tips and Strategies:

This course helps students make substantial gains in each subject area.

Structure of the ACT:

This course helps students crack the code on the structure of the ACT. Students learn how the test is set up, what kinds of questions it asks, and how to follow the test directions (as well as when it's best not to).

Micro-videos

Up to 30-second video clips stimulate a conversation rather than a lecture and keep students engaged. The average video length is only 10 seconds, which helps keep students from losing focus.

Adaptive branching

No two students experience a SnapCourse the same way. If a student needs extra support to master a skill, the lesson will direct that student down a separate learning path that offers additional guidance to help them grasp the concept. After that, they can pick up back where they left off! Meanwhile, students who continue to show mastery of the skill can quickly continue on to more challenging topics.

Learn by doing

Our course isn’t a wall of text or a river of passive video streams. Students never go a minute without taking part in a wide range of activities that vary snap to snap.

Hints and feedback

Students disengage when a question is too difficult. Our highly tailored hints and answer feedback gently prompt students toward the right direction, like a tutor over their shoulder, to keep them on track and help them avoid making the same mistakes in the future.

For example, if one student clicks answer choice A while the other clicks answer choice B and both are incorrect, the feedback that the first student receives will be different than what the other student receives.
