Applied Math
Applied Math focuses on students’ ability to solve problems, think critically, and calculate workplace mathematics. Students learn about employing mathematical operations to solve real-world problems; convert numbers between fractions, decimals, and percentages; and solve problems involving negative numbers, money, and time.
Graphic Literacy
In Graphic Literacy, students learn to interpret and analyze the types of visuals they are likely to encounter in the workplace. Through hundreds of practice questions, students strengthen their ability to understand real-world figures and graphics. They practice reading and completing complex forms, interpreting maps, plans, tables, graphs, and diagrams, and locating and using data across a wide range of information formats.
Workplace Documents
Workplace Documents builds students’ ability to read and understand written materials from real workplace settings. Lessons and practice focus on letters, emails, instructions, memos, notices, policies, and regulations. Students learn to identify key details, follow step-by-step directions, manage dense or complex information, and interpret unfamiliar words in context.
