How It Works:

Directly aligned to TEKS and the STAAR Algebra 1 Blueprint, the STAAR Algebra 1 Boot Camp is a half-day event designed to increase the number of students scoring Meet and Master on the Texas STAAR Algebra 1 assessment. 

Each Boot Camp is led by a MasteryPrep-trained instructor that will arm your students with the tips, strategies, and reasoning skills they need to succeed on test day. 

In just one day, students will learn:

  • Core skills for success in number and quantity, Algebra, functions, Geometry, statistics & probability, etc.
  • Pacing and time management
  • Test-taking and guessing strategies
  • How to overcome test anxiety and put their best foot forward on test day

Students will review:

  • Number and Algebraic Methods
  • Describing and Graphing Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities
  • Writing and solving Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities
  • Quadratic Functions and Equations
  • Exponential Functions and Equations

Students will be prepared for both multiple-choice and grid-in response items as well as practice calculator-active and calculator-inactive question types.
