MasteryPrep’s mission is to get students college and career-ready by offering the most effective in-house ACT and WorkKeys prep on the market. With our targeted resources and course offerings, we have helped thousands of students nationwide achieve higher test scores.
MasteryPrep does not focus on test prep. We help students master content area skills. Our goal is to remediate skills in each subject area which appear the most often on the ACT and carry the most weight. Using our curriculum, modeled after a core classroom instruction, students are reviewing ACT style test questions while learning the skills necessary for improvement and success on the ACT.
We offer unique opportunities for teachers and those wishing to join the teaching profession to help high school juniors and seniors score college-ready on the ACT.
MasteryPrep provides our instructors with all of the tools and materials necessary for total class success. Our advanced syllabus generator allows teachers to focus on the skills students need, without spending time reviewing skills students have mastered. The generator will also produce detailed lesson plans for instructors to follow.

Job Description
MasteryPrep is currently hiring part-time ACT instructors to work in schools throughout Louisiana.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Successful completion of MasteryPrep’s rigorous instructor training
- Ability to work remotely and report regularly
- Willingness to receive and implement instructional feedback
- Deep belief in the potential of all students and a deep commitment to helping students to reach their full potential
- Ability to communicate and work with students and administration
- Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to motivate others
- Respect for individuals’ diverse experiences and the ability to work effectively with people from a variety of backgrounds
Hours may vary depending on region and school registration.
Pay is competitive and negotiated based on hours and experience.
Next Steps
Applicants will be screened by our team of MasteryPrep trainers. Those who qualify will then be interviewed either by either phone or conference call.
Applicants, who are moved forward in the process, will then be asked to “audition” for our team. The audition consists of delivering a 10-minute lesson from our curriculum. This will give us insight into your teaching style and presence in the classroom.
Upon completion of a successful audition, you will be invited to training. Training is a week long, paid event. We discuss the company values, accountability measures, best practices and a MasteryPrep course is run. You will learn about our curriculum and to implement in the classroom. You will also be required to prepare and deliver lessons and will receive feedback on your delivery.
Finally, upon successful completion of the training, you will receive your MasteryPrep Instructor certification and be placed on a schedule based on your availability and the available schools’ needs.
