Stay Ahead of the Curve: MasteryPrep’s New Reporting Tools, Coming Summer 2025

Here at MasteryPrep, we’re thrilled to announce major updates to data reporting on our platform, to be launched just in time for the 2025–26 school year!

Our revamped platform represents a significant leap forward in how teachers, school leaders, and district administrators can analyze data tied to student performance, progress, and platform usage. Based on extensive feedback from educators, we’ve reimagined reporting to make tracking student progress easier, more intuitive, and more powerful than ever.

These enhanced features will be available across all MasteryPrep digital products starting in Summer 2025, including for the ACT, SAT, TSIA2, and our End-of-Course offerings.

  • Reporting That Works for You
Our goal is simple: to provide reporting that saves time and delivers actionable insights. With this release, teachers and administrators will experience a more comprehensive and customizable view of student performance across the platform—no more digging through disconnected data or trying to stitch together progress updates!

You’ll still be able to seamlessly move from a high-level overview of progress to more detailed, student-specific information. Whether you’re a classroom teacher looking to support an individual student or a district leader monitoring trends across multiple campuses, our new reporting tools are designed to meet your needs.

  • At a Glance: Your New Reporting Toolkit
With these updates, when users log into the MasteryPrep platform, they’ll land on an updated Home Dashboard. This starting point offers an easy-to-digest snapshot of key data, such as student usage of the MasteryPrep platform, progress toward their goals, and performance summaries.

From there, you’ll be able to start exploring the five primary data views that make up our new reporting system.

  • Usage View
Track platform engagement with insights into both student and teacher activity. This view is particularly powerful at the admin level, where you can see how often students and educators log in, how much time is spent on the platform, and what kinds of activities are being completed. This data can help identify patterns in utilization and highlight opportunities for additional support or training.
  • Performance View
Drill into student outcomes from multiple angles. See how individual students, classrooms, or entire schools are performing on key assessments. This view makes it easy to compare performance over time, identify trends, and spot gaps that need attention.
  • Content View
Quickly browse all available MasteryPrep content in one searchable, easy-to-filter library. Because our content is tagged with reporting categories and even specific state standards, you can find exactly what they need, when you need it.
  • Standards View
Link student progress directly to your state’s standards or CCMR benchmarks. This view allows you to see how students are performing and engaging with content through the lens of the standards that matter most. It’s never been easier to align your instruction with accountability goals.
  • Users and Groups View
Manage users, classes, and custom segments with greater control and flexibility. Here, you can group students for targeted instruction or organize classrooms for a schoolwide initiative. You can also create segments based on performance, demographics, or any criteria that fit your goals and accountability metrics.
  • Key Improvements to Power Up Your Data

This release isn’t just about new data reports; it’s about making your job easier. Here are a few major enhancements we’re particularly excited about:

  • Enhanced Filtering Capabilities: Go from broad trends to specific student insights in seconds. Our powerful new filters let you zero in on the exact data you need, without the clutter.
  • Exportable Data Tables: Want to share your insights in a presentation or plug them into another system? Every data table can now be downloaded for fast integration and evaluation.
  • Customizable Goals: Use the platform’s tools to set testing and progress goals. As students work toward their goals, educators can easily monitor growth and celebrate progress.
  • Lesson Previewing: Teachers can now preview the content in any lesson, providing full visibility into what students will encounter before educators assign or review it. This means better alignment with what you’re already teaching in the classroom!
  • Student Impersonation Feature: Teachers and administrators can now view the platform exactly as a student sees it. This makes it easy to troubleshoot questions, provide one-on-one support, and ensure a seamless learning experience.
  • Built for Real Classrooms
